   Using MOS transistors to control LED lights involves a typical switching power supply application circuit. In this circuit, MOSFETs are used as switches to adjust the brightness of LED lights by controlling their on and off times. one
 
   Conduction state: When the MOS transistor is in a conducting state, the input voltage VIN charges the inductor through the LED light, inductor L, and MOS transistor. The inductance current will gradually increase with charging time. When the voltage drop on the current detection resistor RCS reaches the current detection threshold voltage VCSTH, the control circuit will cause the output terminal to become low and turn off the MOS transistor.
 
   Off state: When the MOS transistor is turned off, the inductor stores energy and discharges it through a loop composed of LED lights, freewheeling diode D1, and the inductor itself. Afterwards, the MOS transistor returns to the conduction state after turning off a fixed time TOFF and repeating the above process.
 
    The conduction time TON: The conduction time TON of a MOSFET is determined by the following equation: TON=VLED ∗ TOFFVIN − VLEDTON=\ frac {V_ {LED} * TOFF} {V_ {IN} - V_ {LED}} TON=VIN − VLEDVLED ∗ TOFF. Among them, VLED is the forward conduction voltage drop of LED, and L is the inductance value.
 
   Output current setting: The LED output current is set by parameters such as current sampling RCS and TOFF: ILED=0.38RCS − VLED ∗ TOFF2LILED=0.38 \ frac {RCS - V_ {LED} * TOFF} {2L}ILED =0.382 LRCS − VLED * TOFF. Among them, VLED is the forward conduction voltage drop of LED, and L is the inductance value.
 
    By adjusting the on and off times of MOS transistors, the brightness of LED lights can be controlled. This control method is usually used in situations that require precise brightness adjustment, such as lighting and display applications.
